The Rune Altar

Description

A physical place in the world where dormant runes are given life. Bring an Elemental Core and a dormant rune to an Altar, and the altar awakens it, climbing the elemental chain from Ash toward Inferno. An awakened rune can then be socketed straight into a piece of equipment to imbue it with that element.

“We wanted awakening to feel like a small ceremony rather than a menu click.”
